Who are we?
Mean Productions is an amateur production company connecting people through media. We aim to produce high quality digital content in a unique environment. This blog will give us the opportunity to connect with you, the viewers. We plan to post updates, film reviews and exciting stories weekly. This all started because of my love for film and television. This is what I love to do and it is all I ever want to do with my life.
Last December I was encouraged to start making short videos which I have posted on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjb4sEBZjLvz5TT4lTyAydw?view_as=subscriber) here you can see some of my films.
After years of studying and working in the corporate world, this has helped me re-connect with my passion for film-making. It’s taken me just over six months to finally get to the stage we are at.
Where to from here?
Well I quit my job. As of Friday 8th June, I will have no stable income. I am free as a bird to now fully concentrate and commit to my future dreams to be a part of the film and media industry. And it all starts here, with a small production company run out of a residential home in Wellington, New Zealand.
We have so many plans and we are so excited to get fully stuck in! I am not sure where we will end up but that’s life!
I’m off to Orlando next week for a holiday and to visit family so watch out for my “Disney” infused content…..And so the adventure begins.
